should i invest in my website/buttons?

i have a little money. i would like to invest a little in pinkobuttons (http://pinkobuttons.com), like a thumbnail interface, and some stuff that would let me do updates, and maybe even links.
i also would like to spend $600 to upgrade my button machine with a pneumatic cylinder. my teenage son does the assembly. i pay him 10 cents/button. i could pay him a nickle with a better machine. so this might break even.
i am looking forward to november, the end of shrub, and my return to my regularly scheduled life. there is no way i will ever get back the money that i have spent. but i am compelled.
what would you do?
