Is it true that Freepers are boycotting Heinz products?
I was listening to c-span the other morning and some nut called up and said something about boycotting Heinz products.

Has anyone else heard something about this ludicrous Idea of theirs?

10. You are correct.
It's a publicly held company. Teresa may own stock in it but she does not have a controlling interest in it.

I've told this to several Republican acquaintances of mine but they still don't get it.

9. oh shudder and shake...
so five hundred morans stop stealing packs of ketchup from the local McDonalds; this is hardly reason for Heinz to worry.

16. So let them eat their W ketchup
If it's made according to Republican "values" it's probably made with chemical food coloring, genetically modified tomatoes sprayed with all types of pesticides. Mmmm!

18. I really love the fact that
whenever anybody sees a Heinz product, it pushes a subliminal button. It's a little extra indirect campaigning -- every bit helps :)

Whenever I see those beans I just can't bring myself to pick up the can even though I have no idea whether they're connected to W.

Are they truly this stupid? Is it too hard to find out for yourself that Teresa Kerry has NO controlling interest in Heinz?
