4. How about Kerry
as Captain America?

I'm thinking Cheney can be Lex Luthor. He already has his own Luthorcorp and everything. And they both won the presidency in 2000.

7. I made these X-men parody things back in the primaries
Edited on Sat Jul-10-04 05:08 AM by Bombtrack
My friend(a wannabe comic artist) and I came up with this idea drunk and bored one night, and he wanted to actually print out a comic or make an online comic that could be used to raise money or something and we had more ideas, but decided it was not funny enough to continue

anyway for people who know X-men you might enjoy em.

If anyone who's good at photoshop and wants to try other ideas were Edwards=Cyclops: Brecklops, CMB=Storm(this was during the primaries), Clark=Archangel: Clarkangel, Gore=Forge: Gorge, Rush Limbaugh= The Blob, Rove=Mastermind, Drudge=Pyro: Flamer, etc.

He's actually done some professional looking comics with his printing and inking equipment and scanner and we were thinking of doing a story of "what if" the people in the political world had mutant powers. And we thought of a Storyline of a young Bush getting Dean drunk one night at Yale and and using his magnetic powers to put a metal skeleton made of mashed up beercans in him by accident while he's passed out and then driving up to Vermont to leave him for dead in the Wilderness. And he becoms "Wolverdean". And he drew a few panels for a story of the "D-Men" fighting a Rush Limbaugh/Blob character and his dittobots(which were basically giant robotic dittoheads driving giant SUV's., a take off of Sentinels from the comics.)

We came up with the idea after X-2 came out, but decideed correctly most people don't even care about X-men other than when the movies come out.

We decided only X-fans who are into politics were likely to find it funny so we abandoned the idea. For anyone who wants to see where the characters come from go here.

11. Being an X-Men fan
I found that pretty cool. I always thought of Kerry as Cyclops, but it does make more sense as him being Colosssus.
