Here's Belkin Wireless Router Question
Everyonce in a while I can't login in to my router.

I get an error saying it's being administered by 140.6.20.0

That's a DOD IP

Anybody know how I can stop this?

1. Um...
If the DOD has taken over your router, I deny even being here on the same board as you. Good luck with that. We never spoke.

1. Disable remote access to the Router.
2. DoD Computers being used by worms or hackers is not unheard of; interesting and remarkable but probably not important.

Edit: and of course the IP can be faked; do you have WEP activated?

5. Actually I remember..
...hearing or reading something about it a while ago. Hackers were trying to acquire acces to wireless nets and spoofing DOD addresses.

7. There should be a reset button on the outside of the...
router. Reset it and then reconfig it.
