Poll question: Greatest Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan Vehicle |
|
Oh dear God they were all soooo good won't it be hard to pick just one????
Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan should be in EVERY movie!! And Hootie and the Blowfish should do the soundtrack to all of them - Hootie and John Mayer! Yes - a world of prepackaged blandness is what I want out of life!!!!

1. Oh come on no one liked "Sleepless in Seattle?" |
|
But Meg was soooo cute as the bookstore owner too! And there is a real life lesson in that movie - as long as you are a cute yuppie who drinks orange mocha frappuccinos EVERYTHING WILL WORK OUT FINE!!!
FINE!!! FINE!!!

2. I went with 'Sod Off'... |
|
... because, as much as I like and admire Tom Hanks, these films are drek. Which could possilbly be the fault of...hmmmm....lemme see here...oh yeah, the ditzy chick. Can't stand her or any of her crap excuse for entertainment. But Tom as to assume some of the blame, too. However, Tom HAS done enough to redeem himself, whereas The Ditzy Chick is still just that.
But that's just me.

3. "Sleepless" is one of my guilty pleasures |
|
If only for the music. The scene where Rita Wilson describes "An Affair to Remember" is priceless.
