Saw Anchorman last night; we laughed until we cried

Admittedly, you have to be ready to suspend all disbelief, or it'll probably be just too silly for you. Moreover it starts rather slow. But by the end we were dying laughing. We're starting to forgive Ferrell for those gd cheerleader skits on SNL for all those years.

I saw it last night also. I thought it was one of the ten worst movies I'd ever seen. I can appreciate the 'ATTEMPT' at satire, but that was an "F", in my perspective. It was crude, without any point. I should have been paid to see it, and, the producers and actors should have paid to have their names on the "credits??" !!!

5. Not satire, farce

It was just silly. If you don't like silly, you won't like the movie. If you're expecting to read anything into it, you're going to waste a lot of time and mental energy. It was simply a farce, brilliantly (most of the time) mounted. Sorry you couldn't enjoy it; I can relate, I usually hate this kind of stuff, too.

3. We thought it was terrible yet many people were laughing. Then I

realized how divided we are all from each other.
It was so bad I would like to have gotten my money back yet many felt it was a laugh riot. I think it was made for people who watch a lot of tv - it was that very broad television semi-slapstick humor that I don't get.
