New McChicken sandwich advert at mcdonalds |
|
It basically shows us how much "work" a singer has to do in order to be able to pay for one. A 1/2" clip of a guy moaning "uhn uhn" is all it takes, apparently.
Gee, how about showing how long it takes REAL people to pay for that junk food which slowly kills us but feeds $ to the fat cats?!

Maybe it's because a 60 second ad spot isn't long enough for the 11 minute, 39 second ad that would be required to show how much work would need to be done to be able to afford a 99 cent sandwich at the federal minimum wage?
And besides. That would be depressing!

I love that! Its physcodelic and all!
I try not to eat store bought chicken at all- I live near a Tyson chicken plant and have heard stories! Nothing regarding health issues, but they really mistreat the chickens. I would rather have a free range chicken that is killed in a humane manner.

5. When I was asst. manager at my old job (convenience store)... |
|
...it took me probably around seven minutes to earn a dollar. Usually a few customers and a couple authorized gas pumps at the counter. Hey, for a college kid in Bush's economy, $8.50 an hour was not bad.
