Just watched "The Secret Window" |
|
with Johnny Depp and the ending totally caught me off guard. Guess I should have expected it though being that it is a Stephen King novel.
Overall it was pretty good though.

1. it's a fairly cool movie - - - |

Watch the use of mirrors.
It slowed down three quarters (or so) of the way through but ended with a good smack in the face.
Mort (Depp) maintains the most excellent example of bed head we've ever seen.
We saw Secret Window in the theater amidst gaggles of giggling girls who reacted to Depp's every breath. Enjoy the dvd!

4. I liked the Magritte touch |
|
near the end.
We have a book club at the JD fansite I frequent and we read Secret Window, Secret Garden before the movie came out. We had a lot of fun speculating about how the movie plot would be different from the novella. But nobody predicted this particular ending. :D
... the most excellent example of bed head we've ever seen.
Yep! :D
As for the "gaggles of giggling girls" what could be better than a solid 90 minutes or so of just Johnny!

3. A good example of an average movie. |
|
Neither very good nor very bad.
And that's the kind of movie that makes for good conversation.
