If Bush announced himself to be the devil incarnate
at his next press conference and then stripped off his human disguise to show that he really was, which states would still vote for him?

I figure he would still have a lock on Alabama, Mississippi and Idaho among others.

There are places here to which Hell compares nicely.

5. WY, TX, and OK -- unless he ate a baby, too
Then there's a slight chance he'd lose Oklahoma, too. Rush would still put up a red/blue map proving how * had really won the election and had "most" of the country supporting him, though.

And welcome to DU, Ten Bears.

6. Well, maybe if he sodomized the baby first....
on camera. Then there's a slight chance he would lose.

7. Nah, they'd just claim that the baby was askin' for it.
That defense goes a long way in Texas and Wyoming. Hell, might give him the lock on Tennesse and West Virginia for that matter. As long as he didn't marry the baby (assuming that the baby was male), he'd be safe.

11. If Bush announced himself to be the devil incarnate...
William Kristol would write that the devil has gotten a bum rap. Wolf Blitzer would point out that Satan gets a lot of respect and has special powers. And Rush would say, "He's not really evil. It's an act. He's playing a part. C'mon folks, this is politics. Who better to run against the democrats? And he's great fun at parties."
