I need a gmail invite.

I did a really dumb thing. A nice DU'er gave me a gmail invite and I signed up. Now my disabled brother (he's even geekier than I am) is jealous as hell. He has a nick that he really wants. Anyone have a spare invite for my cool liberal brother?

i just signed up a few weeks ago after my friend invited me to. it didn't dawn on me that i needed one.

how many people can you invite? i haven't invited anyone, so i can spare one.

If so, doesn't that worry some folks? I had always heard that Google had some nefarious association with some federal agencies (CIA? FBI?). Or was that just urban legend?

Most of the objections I have seen is about their keyword search of your mail. They search for keywords in your mail and display customized ads to you based on the results. I am not worried about it. The sign-up process is very generic, and not a lot of personal (or real) info needs to be disclosed.
