FOX plagiarizes Dave Chappelle
"Trading Spouses" is FOX's new 'reality' show where nuclear family members are swapped.

Sad.

6. Sketch from Chappelle's Show 1st season
A spoof of "Trading Spaces" and other home makeover shows...he had a father trade between white and black families with hilarious results. Get the 1st season DVD...no description can do it justice.

7. "Dave Chappelle's Show" - came out on DVD earlier this year. (& link)
I forgot which episode (4, 6, or 12?) but they had a segment ALSO called "Trading Spouses". In Chappelle's version, two dads change families. One is black and the other is white. It's outrageously funny.

http://www.poe-news.com/stories.php?poeurlid=36892 for more though I saw the advert on FOX and immediately posted here, of course.

Sounds like ABC is doing something similar, "Wife Swap"... sad.

9. This is almost as bad as "Seriously Dude, I'm Gay", which Fox...
thankfully killed, from what I understand.

But this "Trading Spouses" crap is close behind. Some good "family values" coming from Fox, eh?

13. I'm pretty sure it's actually based on a UK show that was on
before Chappelle made the skit. I think their version is called "Swapping Spouses". I doubt Dave knew about it when he wrote the sketch.

14. I like the commercial where Chappelle is reading hate mail.
He stops while reading one letter and says, "Bill O'Reilly, is that you?"

I really hope Chappelle does a whole show where he does a spoof on Bill "KKK" O'Reilly.
