Stephen Colbert from the Daily Show played a criminal on Law And Order:CI |
|
Tonight. I had no idea that he does drama. What else has he been in?
I really wasn't paying much attention to it, but he played some kind of forger of historical documents, and the story had something to do with Satanism I think.

I have a very hard time envisioning him doing drama. He is obviously a pretty brilliant performer though, so I wouldn't doubt he has it in him.

I started watching a little when I realized it was him. I thought he seemed like a pretty good actor.

I kept waiting for signs of Daily Show craziness and it just never came. He was very creepy and serious.

What channel is it on? I'm guessing either Cartoon Network or Comedy Central.

5. It's on Cartoon Network |
|
It's kind of in the same vein as Space Ghost: Coast to Coast if you've ever seen that. Another Hanna-Barbera throw-away superhero is put into the "real" world and given a job - in this case as a lawyer. His government contact in his 1960s Saturday morning cartoon was named Falcon Seven - thus that character is now Phil Ken Sebben. Harvey defends other Hanna-Barbera cartoon characters - Grape Ape for taking steroids during the Laff-A-Lympics, Fred Flinstone for being a mob boss ala The Sopranos, Shaggy and Scooby for possession, etc. Other characters - normally enemies from the 1960s show are other attorneys and judges.
It's actually quite clever in my opinion. It's worth a watch just to see Mentok the Mind-Taker steal scenes as a judge. :)
