Edited on Sun Jul-11-04 11:38 PM by Dr Fate
See the trailer here: http://nationaltreasure.movies.go.com/main.htmlSaw the trailer b/f Spidey 2 It looks kind of neat- incorporates some of the cool, stoney conspiracy theories...

5. Oh, this is such bad news! |
|
I work at the National Archives building & we're gonna get flooded with calls from people who want to know "the truth".
I thought the Nicholas Cage character was here doing research of some kind, I didn't know he was STEALING THE FREAKING DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE!!

...I would hope adults would never take these old Masonic & Illuminati 1960's & 70's conspiracy theories too seriously-
But they do make great back drops for interesting plots- Like "From Hell", which was based on a 70's Jack the Ripper/Royal family conspiracy- most people dont really takes it seriously, it's just for fun.

10. I don't like Jerry Bruckheimer movies; I don't like Nicholas Cage |
|
And the movie looks like "The DaVinci Code" for kids. I didn't like "The DaVinci Code" and I don't like kids.

13. Reply: Never read DaVinci code. But the flick has comic book themes... |
|
...or at least themes that have appeared in comics over the years...So I guess it could be "for kids"...
I dont know if I've ever seen a Jerry Bruckheimer movie- what has he done besides "Pirates?"
Anyway, I think the trailer looks cool. I'm willing to give it a shot.
