Molly, a teacup poodle (or so we were told), 8 weeks old

3. Same here...too foofoo...but we really wanted a little dog and she was...
...too sweet to resist. I doubt that we'll groom her like a show dog--just trimmed and clean.

12. You're probably right--my cat has been stalking her. But my other...
...dog has been shepherding her around and protecting her. Sweet, huh?

17. Aren't animals wonderful?
They bring such joy into our lives. My cats certainly help keep me sane in this weird world. I had a cat once who used to "ride' on the back of my dog!

14. My carpet is trash anyway, so I'm ready for the housetraining ritual.
I wonder if she'll ever be big enough to use the doggie door. Hmm....

11. Adorable pup
Depending on where you live you might want to keep such a small pooch inside all the time and use the puppy pads.

I tried to take our little chihuahua out for a walk after we first got him. There was a hawk in one of the trees that screeched when it saw the puppy, and the little fellow has been terrified of the outdoors ever since.

Here's his photo-he's fully grown but only weighs four pounds. He gets really nervous if we try to take him outdoors.

15. Oh, how cute your little boy is!
The thought of an itty bitty dog being picked off by a hawk is just awful. Thanks for the tip. I see hawks and owls around here all the time. We'll have to be on guard, and we may end up using the pads, as you suggest.
