"Celebrities" that you don't understand their claim to fame.
Zha Zha Gabor: Why does she have any fame?

That Howie guy from the Radio Shack commercials. Is/was he some "sports guy?" I don't follow sports so maybe it's just me.

JP Morgan from the Gong Show. What did she do other than gong?

That's all i can think of right now....Do you have any?

The only other place I've seen her is on the Odd Couple when she planned on singing a song that Oscar wrote.

He has some funny moments to him. :D His movies are pretty dopey, though.

Sure some of his comedies are pretty dopey, but he was fantastic in "Punch Drunk Love", and he was excellent about 90% of the time on SNL.

He was a all-star defensive end for the Oakland Raiders. He was on the Super Bowl winning team in 1984. He was one of the best defensive line to play with 8 Pro Bowl appearances along with various awards to his credit.

Why in the world are these bimbos famous? They have no talent, are not that good looking, and sing like American Idol rejects. But considering the state of popular music today, maybe they are the best the industry can do. Sad.

19. He had one funny joke back in the day.
Talking about how old movies showed passenger trains with a handle that could be pulled to apply the brakes. "I'm uncomfortable with a means of transportation where the general public controls the braking mechanism...I wouldn't want to go flying off the tracks at 150 miles an hour because Gus thought he saw a hedgehog."

That's about it for Dennis Miller.

:P

Seriously, "Dr." Laura has no business providing advice to others. Frau Schadenfreude seems to take some sort of personal pleasure in telling others how to live her life.

Plus she converted from Judaism, because she didn't think "they" supported her enough. Meanwhile, Ms. Family Values exploits her dead mother, whom she continued to attack on Larry King even after she died.

28. Freiherr von Misthaufen (i.e., Arnold Schwarzenegger)
If anyone needs proof that a complete lack of talent never stood in the way of fame, wealth and a movie career, Schwarzenegger is Exhibit A.

And don't forget Paris Hilton, poster child for the inheritance tax. She reminds me of why revolutions occasionally take place.

Tom Cruise. Insanely overrrated.

Same for Bruce Willis.

There are so many more...

I'm not a fan of American Idol manufactured "pop" but at least the winners did display something to justify further media attention.

But anyone from Survivor, Real World or others of those ilk should just disappear once their show is over.

& has appeared in a number of movies, although her career hasn't been hot recently.

She did make some crude comments about Bush at the notorious fundraiser. Is that why you dislike her?

I just do not "understand her claim to fame" which was the question that I was answering. It may well be though that she has been in the news lately for something that she said about Bush that made me think of her.
