Breakfast at Tiffany's was a great movie. But the latter Holly (her real name, BTW -- apparently mum was a fan of the film) has made some of my favorite records, both with Thee Headcoatees and solo.

She hasn't always treated some of my acquaintances (okay, more like "friends of my acquaintances," like her ex) very nicely, and she berates her band on-stage sometimes. But you don't have to be nice to rock. And I defy anyone to listen to "The Good Things" or "God Don't Like It" and not appreciate her music.

Another trivia tidbit -- when not touring, she drives a lorry (or at least she used to). That's right, our girl is a truck driver!
