Which Presidents were smoked? |
|
I know that every US President elected in a year ending in 0 except Reagan died in office (some of natural causes). Reagan WAS smoked but survived. And Ford (a non-0 one) was, too.
So, what presidets found themnselves at the undesirable end of a firearm bullet? Off the top of my head, I can only remember Reagan, Ford, JFK, and Lincoln. And the one who was replaced by Teddy Roosevelt (I forget his name).

Garfield lived for almost two months after being shot but died from his wounds.

7. I hear Harrison was a fat bastard. |
|
Which brings me to my next question: is it legal to call a dead president a fat bastard? You gotta watch it with Agent Mike around.

12. Clinton- two assassination attempts |
|
Edited on Mon Jul-12-04 10:33 PM by WannaJumpMyScooter
the USSS calls the plane which crashed into the white house "a likely assassination attempt"
and then there was the one by the GOP called Whitewater.
I think you have your Roosevelts mixed up, the Mayor of Chicago was killed when TR was wounded. He appeared in Buffalo the next day and said "It takes more than a little led to stop a bull moose!" he lost the election anyway.

14. It was Mayor Anton Cermak that was killed |
|
Edited on Mon Jul-12-04 10:37 PM by No2W2004
while sitting next to FDR in an open car during an election-year parade in Florida. Speculation is that Cermak was the actual target all along.

17. Presidents who came pre-smoked. |
|
Monroe, Jackson, and Kennedy came pre-smoked. If pig-in-a-blanket can be presmoked, add Bush I and his fighter plane.
