Well, it's my 28th birthday...
...hoo bloody ray. It gets less and less fun every year. Half way to 56, two years from 30. Sigh...

6. You're A KID!!! Stop @^$@^@ Complaining!!
Trigz,

I'm 36. I don't feel old, and I enjoy life, but I realize 40 is less than four years away. I'm not old, but I realize I am no longer young. But believe me, maturity is NOT worth dreading. I am far more happy today than I was at 28. I remember feeling bummed 8 years ago when I hit my late 20s too.

Which brings me to my point:

28 IS NOTHING!!!

TRIGZ, don't wait until ten years in the future to realize how young you are today. Enjoy your youth!! I kick myself for the fact that, my late twenties were a little less fun, because I mildly obsessed on the idea I was headed over the hill. Believe me, from my perch at 36, I can tell you you are FAR from even half-way up it.

Anyway, you're thirties are a blast! Imagine your twenties, except without all of the insecurity and angst, and dark thoughts like "It gets less and less fun every year." which make life get less and less fun every year. At least wait until you actually ARE getting old to start worrying about getting old... ;-)

Cheers,

Robert
