3. Bonus points for the Kingsmen inclusion |
|
As a glasses-wearer I often find myself, uh, "readjusting" my glasses in that very same way.

6. Hey FY -- as an aside... |
|
...do you remember that Mummies record -- "Party at Steve's House," I think it was called -- where they spliced the crowd noise from a Kingsmen live album in between the songs?

8. I like "Never Been Caught" better |
|
(actually, that's probably my favorite '90s garage-revival album ever -- either that or the second Supercharger LP)
But "Just One More Dance" just thrills me to the gills. :)

9. The first trip Alan and I took together was to Olympia |
|
for the International Pop Underground festival in 1991. We saw the Mummies, Thee Headcoats, so many great bands. It was awesome. A bunch of us all went, and we were talking about it after Alan's burial two weeks ago. He really loved the Mummies.

10. I never had the chance to see the Mummies. |
|
From what I understand, they were always fun (if not always "on").
I did see Thee Headcoats a few times. I have a bunch of Bill's lyrics from '97 -- I swiped 'em off stage; my friend who saw them later on the tour said they didn't play any new songs. Oops. :P

I must, however, wonder if it was photoshopped.
