This song keeps running through my head.
I had this on in the car around noon and 9+ hours later, despite singing it all day, it's still going.

CCR's "Have You Ever Seen The Rain?" (this part anyway)

Someone told me long ago
There's a calm before the storm,
I know!
It's been comin' for sometime.
When it's over so they say
It'll rain on a sunny day,
I know!
Shining down like water!

I wanna know: have you ever seen the rain?
I wanna know: have you ever seen the rain
Comin' down on a sunny day

Got a song stuck in your head?

1. I do, but it's one I like
Marilyn Manson, Slutgarden .... just this part and it's driving me a little nuts

I'm unsafe, unsafe
I won't repent and so
I memorize the words to the porno movies
It's the only thing I want to believe
I memorize the words to the porno movies
This is a new religion to me

I never believed the devil was real
But god couldn't make someone filthy as you

3. Yep
This part of John Cougar Mellencamp's "Peaceful World"

Come on baby take a ride with me
I'm up from Indiana down to Tennessee
Everything is as cool as can be
In a peaceful world

People know this world is a wreck
We're sick and tired of being politically correct
If I see through it now but I didn't at first
The hypocrites made it worse and worse
Lookin' down their noses at what people say
These are just words and words are okay
It's what you do and not what you say
If you're not part of the future then get out of the way

4. 'These Days'
well ive been out walking
i dont do that much talking these days
these days
these days i seem to think a lot about the things that i forgot to do for you
and all the times i had the chance to
and i had a lover
its so hard to risk another these days
these days
now if i seem to be afraid to live the life that i have made in song
well its just that ive been losing
for so long

well ill keep on moving
moving on
things are bound to be improving
these days
one of these days
these days ill sit on cornerstones
and count the time in quarter tones to ten my friend
dont confront me with my failures
i had not forgotten them

5. Amazingly, I have a "rain" song stuck in my head too...
"Rain Drops" by Jan & Dean.

That and Neil Sedaka's "Breaking Up is Hard to Do"...

6. Hey, I heard this CCR classic just this morning...
While I was out walking with my old doggie. Sped up my gait, though not hers too much. Great song. Not a bad one to have stuck in your head!

7. Boston: Foreplay/Long Time
It's been such a long time
I think I should be goin', yeah
And time doesn't wait for me, it keeps on rollin'
Sail on, on a distant highway
I've got to keep on chasin' a dream
I've gotta be on my way
Wish there was something I could say.

Well I'm takin' my time, I'm just movin' on
You'll forget about me after I've been gone
And I take what I find, I don't want no more
It's just outside of your front door.

It's been such a long time. It's been such a long time.

Well I get so lonely when I am without you
But in my mind, deep in my mind,
I can't forget about you
Good times, and faces that remind me
I'm tryin' to forget your name and leave it all behind me
You're comin' back to find me.

Well I'm takin' my time, I'm just movin' on
You'll forget about me after I'v e been gone
And I take what I find, I don't want no more
It's just outside of y our front door.

It's been such a long time. It's been such a long time.

Yeah. It's been such a long time, I think I should be goin', yeah
And time dosnt wait for me, it keeps on rollin'
There's a long road, I've gotta stay in time with
I've got to keep on chasin' that dream, though I may never find it
I'm always just behind it.

Well I'm takin' my time, I'm just movin' along
Takin' my time, just movin' along
Takin' my time, takin' my time...

8. Fool For You, and I have not idea why it's stuck in my brain
I know you told me
Such a long time ago
That you didn't want me
You didn't love me no more

I want to know
Oh, what makes me be
do you believe me child
A fool for you
Ohoh, no, I'm a fool for you

I know you told me
You didn't want me `round
And I know
You got a man way `cross town

So I know it's something
Oh, what makes me be
do you believe me child
I'm a fool for you
Ohoh, no, I'm a fool for you

Did ya ever wake up in the morning
Just about the break of day
Reach over and feel the pillow
Where your baby used to lay
Then you put on your crying
Like you never cried before
Oh lord
Yeah you even cry so loud,
You give the blues to your neighbor next door
Ever since you were five years old
I been a fool for you, little girl
Way down in my soul
I'm a little fool for ya

So I know it's something
Oh, oh, Lord
I'm a fool for you

9. That song....
... I once read, was written by John Fogerty in response to the deteriorating mood of the band. They were at the height of their success, accolades and money pouring in, but the members of the band were increasingly unhappy.

He just could not understand it.

10. hey. . .
it's all better than having Weezer's "Hash Pipe" stuck in our cranium for a weekend thanks to your 13 year old.

But what a bass riff.
