Anyone hear Jerry Falwell on Tavis Smiley this morning?
Edited on Tue Jul-13-04 08:57 AM by bif
God is he insufferable. What an asshole. I was screaming at the car radio on the drive in to work. I finally had to turn it off or I was going to end up blowing a gasket.

16. Waiting
Until southpaw gets enough congrats on the ying-yang before I incorporate it into my tagline and replace the boring old ying-yang I have down there.

17. That's mighty big of ya, Az...
It's certainly been remarked upon!

I've considered removing Shogo, Tony and Jay and paring the sig down to a single Yin-Yang.

Whoever came up with that gif deserves some props!

Despite being at odds with each other for many years, I could have sworn I heard that they are cordial with each other.

4. Fallwell and Robertson.....
These nuts have been trying to turn the clock on us for many a decades. When will we be ever rid of them? And a scary thought, who is waiting in line to take their place?

6. Thanks for ruining my morning coffee...
nothing makes me more queasy than hearing Jerry Falwell (or Pat Robertson) first thing in the morning...

Just wondering... In the Bible it says that one should keep ones prayers to themselves... do you think God (whichever one(s) you believe in will have one hell of a time tormenting the shit out of these two buttmunches when the pass over?

11. Did Falwell spew his "God Made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve"...
line?

That's his justification for supporting Constitutional gay bashing vis a vis the Federal Marriage Amendment. He's nothing more than a hateful homophobe. The anti-Christian.

12. Tavis heavily favors religious issues
Did an entire peace the other day on the health benefits of religion. There was no skeptical analysis of the information. Tavis is cool, but he has his pet subjects.

18. Religion and Church
are important themes in the African American community just as they are here in the South, so it's not surprising that Tavis has it as an element of his show.
