I am SICK of the rich and famous "Hollywood"'s political involvement
Seriously what do they know about everyday life anyway? Just because they are extremely popular and can generate a media buzz that does NOT give them the right to come out and tell everyday AMERICANS like us how to live. What do they know? Oh sure they are rich but does that make them smarter? I am SICK of it.

8. "Entertainer" Pat Boone? I thought the news was supposed to be objective.
I've never been entertained by Pat Boone, except when he covered Heavy Metal tunes. Even then, my entertainment consisted of convulsing in laughter at him.

12. Republicans have all the washed up celebrities
Bo Derek, Jaclyn Smith, Tom Selleck, Rick Schroeder, Kathie Lee Gifford and Ted Nugent. The only one I can think of who is still in his prime is James Woods.

14. Pat Boone tried to save the children from corruption over the word AIN'T
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0004769/bio

Boone was heavily criticized in the 1950s, and since, for singing homogenized versions of rock and roll numbers written and/or popularized by Afro-American artists. For example, when he recorded Fats Domino's "Ain't That a Shame" (his first big hit) in 1956, he initially insisted upon changing the title to "Isn't That a Shame", feeling that the poor grammar of the original title would be a bad influence on young people. He was overruled. On another occasion, at around that same time, he succeeded in removing all of the more suggestive lyrics from his cover of Little Richard's "Long Tall Sally." On that occasion, he changed the original's, "I saw Uncle John with Long Tall Sally,/He saw Aunt Mary comin' and he ducked back in the alley" to, "Long Tall Sally's got a lot on the ball,/And nobody cares if she's long and tall."

20. don't forget
Oscar winners Meryl Streep, Robert DiNiro, Robin Williams, and Jessica Lange. I have no problem with celebrities using their wattage for what they believe. If they drag some votes our way, more power to them. At this point, I want this evil regime ended to badly that I'm ready to use whatever troops will help us win.

23. Whoopi Goldberg DOES know about real life. However...
....Whoopi isn't funny anymore, and so her comments at the Kerry fundraiser in NYC were more trouble than they were worth. Sorry, Whoopi fans---she's coasting BIG-time on her Oscar win (supporting) for "Ghost," and she hasn't been vital (or funny) since the late '80s. Name me another Oscar-winner who's made as many shitty, worthless movies as she has.

Kerry doesn't need her kind of lame "incendiary" commentary. Best he look to more vital and more relevant actor/comics if he's going to go the Hollywood way.
