20% of men in Northern England iron their underpants
The study revealed that about 10 percent of men have never ironed a shirt while women iron nearly twice as many items as men.

According to the survey, which was published in The Sun, the combined height of all the daily ironing baskets in Britain would equal 260 Mount Everests.

About 80 percent of the 2000 people surveyed said that they ironed their jeans and about a third said that they ironed their tea towels. The report stated that about 20 percent men from Northern Britain even iron their underpants.

8. I'd be happy
if my men could even FIND their underpants. If these undergarments were to be discovered and laundered and ironed, they would deteriorate sufficiently to be used as decorative doilies.

I don't think Trading Spaces will be using my cost-cutting tip soon, except: Maybe for a creative screen, to separate the living space from the homework space. Or appliqued on a dark hand towel for the powder room which has been destroyed. Or stapled to the bathroom wall. Or glued to a lamp shade. Or laminated and made to be part of a bulletin board. Or to cover an otherwise lovely chair. A unique quilt. A tea cozy with a very personal note. Hey, put a bungee cord on it and it's just as good as a mesh tote bag.

Ironing underwear. Oh, the irony. We should already have a crease for them.
