Although my decadent side is yearning for a Pepperidge Farm White Chocolate Chunk, this will have to do for now.

9. Oh, but it can, and it does |
|
Imagine this:
Oregon Bread -- variety: Western Hazelnut, a blend of whole grains, hazelnuts and poppy seeds. Toasted.
Adams Chunky Peanut Butter -- all natural, only a little salt added.
Home made Blackberry Jelly.
It's a god damn triple crown! :)
Of course, this is just my own preference.

11. i like the basic, but taken to the next level |
|
first, a good wheat bread, but then you got to toast it.
make sure you butter the toast while it is still hot.
then, about a half inch of extra crunchy peanut butter, preferably peter pan.
then smear on a healthy layer of grape jelly, preferably welches.
then, mmmmmmmmmmmmm....
it is SO good. it comes squishing out all sides and makes a real mess.
it's amazing what toasting and butter can do to a pbjs.
but it is a GOOD mess!

12. Toasting is definitely a must |
|
Just thinking of one of those wimpy un-tosted white bread PBJ's makes me wonder how some people get through a day. What are they thinking?
A good whole wheat bread is imperative. I'd say you can go as far as 7-grain, but you don't want to get too nutty.
Enjoy!:o
