Talk radio used to be so great - a real meeting place of the |

community and ordinary people. I recall 15 years ago or so when talk shows first began - there were such fascinating topics - everything from "what is going on in your neighborhood?", "Yogic breathing", Taoism, alternative medicine - every night there were interesting subjects with callers from all over the city - not just from the 'burbs and remote rural areas where they now emanate. New managers then took over and there was a swing to the right and the fundies and uninformed took over. Its been hate radio and an embarrassment ever since.
