OMG...I'm finally back on line - 2 week hiatus

The air conditioner in my house blew while everyone was at work. It started pumping only hot air, non-stop. It was over 100 degrees in my house when I came back around 7pm, so you can imagine how hot it was during midday (South Florida heat). It fried my cable modem, and I just got the new one today.

I've been on the internet since it damn near started (since '94) - it felt weird just catching snips of it during lunch at work. I've been ...um...incarcerated ...a few times, and obviously I didn't have it then, but it's different when the computer's sitting right there in front of you and you want to look up something, and you can't. At least I read a book.

I'm glad to be back online.

LOL - Our internet bill was overdue because we couldn't go online to pay it! I had to get an extension when they changed my new MAC address.

Don't you love when you have a computer problem and you have to go ONLINE to do something about it.

3. LOL..similar thing happened to me

I warrantied my modem throught Linksys, and I had to fill out an online form.

I filled it out at work.
