2. I met Pat back in the eighties.

I was working on a tv crew doing a religious show from First Baptist in Dallas.

Carrying cable throug a backstage hall way I passed Pat coming the other way. I looked down and exclaimed, "Nice shoes, Pat!" (He actually wears the trademark white bucks.) He turned around, smiled and said, "Thanks, man." and we went on our separate ways.
