Ken Jennings Jeopardy **SPOILER**
Read this post from June 13th.

OK Ken Jennings looks like he is on a serious streak right? You are
asking who will knock him off this week or the next right?

No the real question should be, who will knock him off this year or
the next. Jennings will break every single record in the history of
TV game shows over the coming months. So just don't hold your breath
while watching him on the show for quite a long while, just go along
for the ride, at the current moment there is still nobody who will
know where it will end.

2. it was first taped 5 months ago
He's won 30 consecutive times so far.

According to the spoiler guy:

OK since stories are all starting to come out now anyway and people
are getting all bent out of shape watching the show and rooting
against Ken I will give you some facts so you can relax and enjoy the
run. The show is currently on break this summer, but Jennings will
still be the reigning champion when taping starts again. At the end
of taping this season he had won about fifty shows and over one and a
half million dollars. Ok there you have it on a silver platter.

3. Folks hereabouts who woul find a conspiracy in
W and and Cheney going to the bathroom at the same time are not at all concerned about this Jeopardy game show situation.

Does anybody remember $64,000 Question or the Movie "Game Show"

Now I am not saying that they are feeding this guy the answers ...er, questions... uh, well, you know, but the advantage that he has is not limited to his own powers of memory.

Anybody who has ever tried out for the show (I haven't, so don't think I'm just sour grapes) or has even played the home game or computer version of the game knows that there is a trick to clicking in first, and that once you have developed a rhythm, you have definitely got the advantage over somebody new.

There is also the way Alex T. starts out the show by trying to intimidate the two new comers with the glories of Ken.

Third, there is the preferential treatment accorded to K.J. The other day when the category was the Kennedy's, most of the answers ... that is questions... were somebody with the last name Kennedy. So when the quest ... CLUE was "The first Lady of California" the response was correctly "Maria Shriver", not merely "Maria". And this is the response that was correctly given by one of the newbies.

However, the next CLUE was about the Kennedy office holder in Maryland, the correct answer should have been "Kathleen Kennedy Townsend," and NOT simply "Kathleen" which was the answer Ken gave. Of course, his answer was accepted.

Now, compared to the missing billions in Iraq, and more importantly the sacrificed lives there, this is definitely not even on the radar.

Still, it is not right.

There, I'm done.

4. It would serve them right if people
got so disgusted with this guy that the ratings went through the floor and the show got cancelled. Then Alex T. would have to get a rel job where he didn't have all the answers in front of him.

5. Once more, I'm finding it very boring
Ken is too smirking, Alex too cloying. Give us a break, folks. It's got to where I can't even watch one of my favorite shows anymore. Ugh!
