Who else is reading Dark Tower VI: Song of Susannah?
I just finished. Don't worry, I'll post no spoilers here. Just curious where people are at with the book because I'd very much like to post a thread with spoilers big-big, and we'll hold palaver, say thankya.

If you're reading it, let me know how long it'll be before you think you'll finish. :)

1. I'll finish it AS SOON AS I CAN AFFORD IT!!
Or I'll go to the library and pray I get lucky one Friday or Saturday and a copy is on the shelf that just got checked back in. I just love that whole series!

7. You can always just sit in Barnes & Noble and just read it there
They don't mind if you don't buy it.

2. Read it in one sitting.

Took me about 4 hours. Seems like there's an awful lot left to tie up in Book 7 (which is probably going to be a thousand pages or so).

3. still working my way through wolves of the calla...
Sigh.

Took me a while to get past that first chapter of Calla. Just didn't catch my interest. Finally did, on the plane to NC two weeks ago. Have been reading it on my handheld when time permitted - like waiting in line at the grocery and in line at the airport and such.

I'm 75% finished.... but last night, at the grocery store, a small child ran headlong into me while carrying a large soda (this is reason number 6743892 why children should not be allowed soda, but I digress), smashed into me, smashed the soda and drenched me. (some gawd-awful ounce size, super-dooper-ooper sized.) The Clie was in my pocket....

The Clie is now dead.

Replacement ordered last night.

No, I'm not pleased.

I wanna finish the book!!!

5. I think Wolves of the Calla is my least fave, so far
It wasn't bad, but it wasn't very good either. I really enjoyed Song of Susannah much more.

6. I almost saved this one for when VII comes out
I heard it was a bit of a cliffhanger, and thought it would be fun if I could conjure up some patience and pick up VII right after I finished VI.

Should have known that would never happen.
