Here's what I've discovered in the past few days:

1) The continuing knowledge that George W, Bush is the President of the United States. That's still a shameful, disgusting fact of life

2) Gay people apparently are the cause of the destruction of marriage and the family. Lord almighty, I'm sick to death of that crap.

3) The people of Illinois apparently just might end up with Senator Mike Ditka R-IL. What in the FUCK happened to the idea of the best and the brightest in government? Jesus Christ...the former coach of the Chicago Bears and the current pitchman for a "male enhancement" product in the United States Senate? WTF???

Sorry for the rant. But, unreality is washing over me this minute.

1. I stopped reading newspapers a long time ago.

I get almost all of my news from DU because I'm f**king sick and tired of the conservative spin on everything.

Don't feel too bad, we have a rich, lousy actor as Gov., and have had, in the past, another lousy actor as Governer. Also, a song and dance guy as senator.

I only read the sports section.

3. Sometimes I want to shut out the news altogether...

...because I'm not seeing the news that I really want to see. Everytime I buy a paper, turn on the TV, or click on Latest Breaking News here at DU, I do it hoping that I'll see the headline "Bush/Cheney up for Indictment".
