Poll question: Bush Daughters: Which One's The Biggest Floozie
You know... a strumpet, a tart, a doxy! Who's the most easy, loose, riggish, unchaste and wanton?

DISCUSS: Are they still abusing alcohol?

if they have truly cleaned up their acts or if daddy dearest has managed somehow to keep them out of the news. what do you think the chances are of these wild babes suddenly walking the straight and narrow road of sobriety?

3. Let's keep this about B*
They didn't pick their father - I'm not sure they even support his politics. They've been to Europe by choice!

As Wes Clark has said, 45% of voters don't like B*, the rest think he's a good Christian man with a good wife. Right now we are working on getting 6% out of that group, and attacking his family doesn't help.

10. Nope
It was their decision to work on his campaign. That tells me they agree with his politics. Since they are actively working on his campaign it makes them fair game! Let the games begin! :-)

4. If Iraq is such an important mission.....
...why the hell aren't these two in service over in Iraq? They certainly could use the help. Guess "service to your country" doesn't apply to the shrub twins.

I hope you don't mean you are doing those two things at the same time.

11. Floozies to Recruitment Station
Both these spoiled brats should take a hike down to the nearest recruiting station and sign up for four year hitches in the US Army.

There is no greater evidence of George aWol Bush's fraudulent war than the fact that these two well qualified and old-enough young people are not willing to sacrifice for "freedom" and "libertion" for the Iraqis. They would be fine examples of how important it is to put on the uniform to "disarm Saddam".

Until they sign up, I would encourage anyone thinking about joining the US military not to do it.

14. After what the repubs did for all those years to Chelsea...
I would love to bash these two, but I just can't. They haven't done anything that I have seen that would justify me spending my time saying nasty things about them.
They are the shrubs daughters and they have to have some sort of respect for their father at this time. I think they are too young and inexperienced to know any better right now.
I also have heard that dubya and pickels almost lost the twins at birth and I still have some compassion for most human life. Just my opinion.

15. They Are Adults. They Are Campaigning For Him...
and his "family values". Too young and inexperienced to know better? You must be kidding! It sounds as though you're suggesting that we are innately cruel Republicans and we only become thoughtful Democrats with age and wisdom. I don't follow that logic.

Okay, so they survived a difficult birth. Are you suggesting that we give them a "pass" on their political choices because their birth was difficult and they might have died as infants? I'm not sure I understand what this has to do with anything either.

They have willingly joined his campaign, they are adults, they support the criminal Bush*... they are legitimate targets for my ridicule and scorn.

17. I'm not implying that you personally can't say what you want
I was just saying that I haven't gotten to a point of bashing them. I wasn't suggesting we are born nasty then turn liberal, I was suggesting that they are young and still his daughters. No matter how much I disagree with their father, until I see them do or say something that I am in complete disagreement with, I won't start on them.
You can ridicule and scorn all you want, I am all for freedom of speech...although with my year and a half at DU, I get flamed 50% of the time for stating my thoughts.
As for me mentioning their difficult birth, from experience I know that losing a child so far into pregnancy is tough, and I just feel for them. That's all, it wasn't meant to say that they deserve to be treated any different, it just humanizes them for me a little.

26. Correct. You didn't suggest that I *couldn't* say what I wanted to...
you only suggested that my criticism wasn't *justified* and that I was wrong in targeting these spokespersons of the criminal Bush* campaign. -- In response I justified my position, my criticism, and questioned your arguments. That's all, nothing more.

Do you REALLY think I was flaming you? I wouldn't use the word 'flame' to characterize the fact that someone feels differently than you do about the Bush* twins. --- Just wait until someone REALLY disagrees with you! You'll think that I'm a cuddly-bear in comparison.

Okay. So the Bush* twins are humanized for you a little due to the fact that they survived a difficult birth. A-a-a-and.... what? --- What does this have to do with their politics and the choices they make now? I'm still confused on this one. (Why would you mention it at all unless it shapes or softens your view of them?)

Did you know that Dubya lost his little sister when he was a child? He cried and cried and cried. It hurt him terribly. --- That doesn't make him any LESS of a heartless monster today. (I know, that's a silly example, but you get my point.)

-- Allen

P.S. Getting (genuinely) flamed is part of life at DU. It happens occasionally to me too... one must have a tough skin if one expects to post their thoughts on a public discussion forum.

32. My point on getting flamed....
..had more to do with my belief on freedom of speech rather than what you posted. I don't consider what you said as being flamed. If I was to put a percentage on how many times someone has disagreed with my opinion here at DU, the percentage would be much higher than 50%. I can live with disagreements online and off, it is part of my enjoyment of life.
I originally was only responding to yet another post on the girls. If you read the original post, I say "I" six times and "you" zero times. I hope you don't think that I am just trying to start up an argument with you Allen, that wasn't my intention. I'm not big on "guilt by association", but I don't judge people who are big on it. As I said, you can bash them all you want, everyone can as far as I'm concerned. I don't really care, it doesn't hurt me.
I understand that this is the lounge and a place to just have some fun, but I feel there are bigger fish to fry than shrub's daughters.
I'm not really good at expressing myself in these forums, so maybe I don't come across well on what I am trying to convey. My post wasn't a personal attack on your original thread, it was just the one I picked to say that I have no animosity toward these girls.....yet.
Take care....
Johnnie

I agree with you. I find it distasteful to criticize Bush's daughters until they do something that angers me... and THEN I wouldn't be trashing their appearances, but their politics and integrity.

That said, I can't flame Allen... I like him too much. :)

16. Sorry, but If these two campaign for Daddy, they're fair game, IMO
They are also 21 and over, which is adulthood by any legal standard.

So, monkey muffins on the notion of laying off, especially if they start preaching to the rest of us about drugs, alcohol, or morals. Unless they fess up about it.

http://www.cnn.com/2002/US/08/30/anthrax.florida/

I was making a statemtn of fact. These people lost their lives, the antrhax was mailed DIRECTLY to them, and they were responsible for the story and to a lesser degree the photos on Bush daughter frolics.

Now, you can play "sneer and run" all you wish. And I am sure you wish it quite a bit.

These people died.

Go ahead and sneer stupidly. Stuff words in my mouth if you prefer, and of course you do, Matri-Cheneyer.

Go Cheney Yourself.

Understand?
