Return to the cocktail hour? |
|
A couple of years ago I'm dropping off my son's friend at his house and the parents and others were just beginning their cocktail hour. And I thought how 50's. Today, the Boston Globe has an article about the cocktail in the Food Section. Is the cocktail hour back? How many participate in the ritual of timely drinking? And has the administration made it so we need to get more drunk?:toast:

1. It's nostalgia for good times that never existed |

People were actually happy in the 50's/early 60's, assuming by people mean white Protestant men.
