Of Kittens and Venus Envy!

Okay, I WOULD have come on yesterday to tell y'all that Chamisaq is OK... but SOMEBODY got me hooked on Venus Envy! I spend four hours yesterday reading from the beginning to the end of that ADDICTIVE little strip!

So it's all your fault! :D

Here's the update.

Chamisa is home from the vet, having spent the night, night before last. X-rays were clear, no crystals in her urine, but al elevated white cell count. Infection somewhere in that teensy lil body.

So we're giving her Clavamox (amoxycillin) twice a day. Already, we see improvement. She's using the box normally now, no urgency, straining or frequency, and she's playing and being a normal, healthy kitten! YAAAY! We will give her the entire course of antibiotics to be certain she doesn't relapse or the buggies develop immunity, and we're giving her a supplement called F-Biotic (from Wysong) which replenishes the gut flora that amyxycillin destroys, so that she'll be OK. Yes, we checked with the vet and they are very happy with her progress.

And I DREAMED about Venus Envy, last night! As I said, that's one aDDICTIVE strip!
