Worst car you owned part 2
The "Worst car you owned" thread is too long, so I'm starting a second one.

The worst one I had was this one:

The Mazda Rx-3, mine looked like this but without the black racing stripe.

Had a 2-rotor Wankel engine, so this teeny car, (I'm 6 feet, and was always cramped in it,) would go like it had a V-12 engine.

Sucked gas like it had a V-12 engine, too.

It didn't even look cool at all like the RX-7 does.

Within three weeks, 3 out of 4 of the door handles had broken off. And they're REALLY hard to replace by yourself. POS, RIP.

Forget the year...worst car ever. Had to put a quart of oil in it every time I filled the gas tank.

3. 1980 Chevy Citation...
Hard to list all the things that went wrong on that car...fittingly its color was light yellow (hence its name, "Mellow Yellow":eyes: ).

Shaped like a lemon , too! And though it could hold at least half a ton of stuff--GREAT for moving, which I did twice in it--things went so wrong with the electrical system that, at one point, on rainy nights, one had a choice: start the wipers and knock out the headlights, or go with the headlights and NO wipers!

Ahh..nobody sweated the defects like GM in those days!:eyes:

Thank goodness I succeeded Mellow Yellow with a 1983 Honda Accord Sedan..best car move I ever made--and the first of FIVE Hondas I've owned ever since!:D

B-)

Fun to drive, but man that thing was a lemon. It was in the shop constantly. I finally had to file a complaint against ford to get the thing fixed. Then we traded it in.

Naturally, the last year that the Monaco was made.

Driver door couldn't be opened from the inside
Passenter door couldn't be opened from the inside (you had to reach around through the backseat window to grab the handle from the outside

Both of the motors in the front windows were totally shot, the passenger side didn't move at all, but the driver's side you had to slide halfway down for the motor to catch, but when you wanted to close it, you had to slide it the rest of the way up after the motor stopped.

The engine itself was the only thing I didn't really have a problem with. The heater core went out pretty early on, so I had to carry water with me at all times (whenever I would turn right, I would get hot water dumped on my foot through the heater vent.

The lights would come on sometimes...I had to replace the switch 4 times.

When the brakes went, it was time to get a new car.

it looks better on the picture...

Yeah, indebted broke ass me still drives it. The car must be worth $500 at most lol.

(-) No more AC, the window can't go down on the driver's side. The speakers are fried. The headlights will have a tendency to flicker/turn off whenever I put my signals on and turn left. There's no power assisted steering wheel, and no more suspensions....
(+) reliable engine (I drove across the US with it twice). insurance/gas is cheap. The next car, whatever it is, will feel like luxury.
