OK, I have come to the conclusion that any car I own will have a chip in the windshield. I have owned several different cars in the past 15 years and it has happened to every one of them. Why there must always be one at eye level on the drivers side I do not know, but that is the way it is. Buy why or why must I have one on my new car. I have had it less than a week and already there it is. Right at eye level where it taunts me constantly. I know that automobiles can not stay clean and perfect forever, a little scratch here, and little dent there, and stain or two on the carpet, but a chip in the windshield is like someone screaming in your face, NA NA NA NA NAN NA>>>>

6. Yeah, we also have a lot of semi trucks in our area |
|
They drive along kicking up rocks and having stuff fly out the back of their trucks all the time.
I didn't even see or hear this one hit.

5. The ONLY good thing about living in Florida... |
|
is that if you need to replace your windshield, auto repair shops have to do it for free, and are reimbursed by the state. Sometimes, they don't tell you that though, and a lot of people living here don't know about this. Odd that Jeb cares more about replacing windshields than he cares about children, women, minorities, education, health care, the environment, civil rights, or fairness in elections, ain't it?

Big chip in the passenger side of the windshield. Ok. Got it fixed. Can still see it but it won't spread.
Couple of months go by. SPlat. In a direct line about 3 inches below the first impact another. Hurray.
Couple weeks go by.... Splat... a third divet in the windshield again in a direct line between the other two. What the heck is going on.

Sounds like they are out to get you. :scared:
It is a conspiracy. They are making windshields weaker so we have to have them fixed or replaced all the time.
