My new kitty is a prissy eater. |
|
He paws one pellet of cat food out of the bowl and eats that one and then goes back for another.
Lather rinse repeat.

My younger cat does that with canned food. I have to mop up after him twice a day.

7. I imagine he's thinking "If you provided me with utensils.... |
|
....I wouldn't have to resort to this absurd one pellet at a time nonsense!"

6. My new kitty eats everything in large, unapologetic gulps |
|
And eats damned near everything I put down in front of him.
Kitties are a lot like people: a never-ending variety of personalities...
Vive le difference!

She'll take a scoop of food with her paw (wet, nontheless, drops it on the carpet and eats it that way.
On a related note: any hints for getting cat food stains out of a carpet?

9. I wish my cat had thumbs, |
|
so that I wouldn't have to get up at 5:30 to open his can of cat food and feed him so that he will be quiet so that I can get another hour of sleep.

My little grey tabby, Esther, does this too. Thank goodness it's dry food because she's a really messy eater. None of my other cats eat this way (I have 4 female felines).

13. My kitty drinks water by dipping her paw into the water bowl . . . |
|
and then licking the water off the paw.
She'll sit there forever dipping, licking, and then vigorously shaking her paw off afterwards, then a giant groom-fest occurs.

14. Get Him a Flatter Plate. |
|
If a bowl is too deep and not wide enough, cats' whiskers will bend when they hit the sides/edges of the bowl. Cats don't care for that. A wide flat plate allows Pussblossom's whiskers to flourish while he nourishes! Your kitty will thank you.
