Why does my dog tease me?

If I ignore her, she'll put her head on my lap - until I reach for the toy, then she'll move away. She never GIVES me the toy - I always have to TAKE it. When I reach for it, she moves away again.

When I get it and throw it for her, she'll bring it back & do the same thing.

She loves to position herself at my feet when I have to pull an "all-nighter," and the more tired I become, the louder she snores, and sighs contentedly!

6. My dog does that too

With a tennis ball (it's the only toy she likes). She'll bring it to me and set it down right in front of me. Then if I try to grab it she quickly snatches it up and runs away growling. If I'm too fast and I get the ball first she bites me. It's her favorite game.
