Are there any clergymen/women in the house?
I don't want to start a religion war here. I'm just curious if any members of DU are also priests, ministers, rabbis, etc...

8. Welcome to you too, ok222!
Cool about your ordination. Think more of the wiccans should get offically ordained, come out and make the fundies think twice about trying to use public monies to fund their religious schools ;)

12. Ordained ULC
Edited on Wed Jul-14-04 08:42 PM by Rowdyboy
My best friend from college wanted me to perform her 2nd marriage. She went online and presented me with my ordination three days later.

The wedding was a blast. I'd had 4 glasses of champagne before things started and the entire ceremony took about 7 minutes. We had over 30 guests and the recption was in our garden. 8 years laterm they're still married.

I have even married people. Needless to say, you need to have any seriuos credentials to marry people in the state of Washington. Even *I* can do it!:D

Only I have the Masters in Religion AND the Doctorate in Divinity. Haven't married anyone yet, just talked a few people out of it. They were doomed from the start.
