incl the rosenbergs or red hot chili peppers

and/or

what station can i hear the b sides of 60s and 70s rock

Just for a few, I've heard Morrissey, the Von Bondies (very excellent garage sound), Phish (which is on there right now), and what I think was the Jayhawks.

someone here just posted that the new beastie boys was on but when i got there it was long over but a good place nonethless

3. Maybe launch cast
They have different stations and you might be able to find a station that would play that kind of music. Plus you can rate the songs and it will play those tunes more or less often.

6. WOXY is finally back on the Internet.
Streaming audio -- you can access it from the homepage at:

http://www.woxy.com

They play modern rock/alternative/new wave, from the '80s on.

If you have ITunes, the 'Indie Pop Rocks!' streaming webcast is pretty good, too, though it's all new stuff and some of it is kind of obscure.

You can program your own station. Every few songs there's a commercial, but for a little money, they go way.
