Damn, I have a MORAN in my class!!!!!

Honest to God, I have a student with the last name of Moran in my summer class.

Must.... not..... fail..... student....based....on....name!

6. I heard about a study done

Teachers were given papers to grade of students they did not know, the only identifier being the name on the paper. It was found that teachers consistently graded those papers with a "weird" name a full grade lower than papers by students with a "normal" name.

Heard about this on late night AM radio, so take it with a grain of salt.
