Did Sen. Cornyn really compare same sex marriage to sex with box turtles?
Hear it on the Daily Show, honest to god, how does a group of such mean spirited people get to be so powerful and run this country? I really wish all the people in the red-states didn't have their heads so far up the arses (due respect to thinking people who live in such states....)

Senator John Cornyn, Republican from Texas, gave a speech to the Heritage Foundation last Thursday. In it he said:

"It does not affect your daily life very much if your neighbor marries a box turtle. But that does not mean it is right...Now you must raise your children up in a world where that union of man and box turtle is on the same legal footing as man and wife."

1. WTF?
Thanks John Freaking Cornyn. Thanks for opening your mouth and making me once again have to hang my head that YOU SUPPOSEDLY REPRESENT ME, YOU FREAKING IDIOT!!! SHUT YOUR TRAP YOU ARE IGNORANT!!!

Ok I feel SLIGHTLY better.

Geez. And my other senator, Hutchinson, was one of the sponsors of the Constitutional amendment thing.

My God. As soon as Kerry's in office, I'll be free to work my ASS off to get those two fucktards out of office. Sorry for the language.

5. Ok good then
Cornyn is a fucktard, Kay Bailey Hutchinson is a fucktard and they all have their collective empty heads up their collective HATEFUL IGNORANT asses.

They bring out such evil feelings in me, I swear. The very THOUGHT that they are my senators makes my skin freaking CRAWL.

What are they good for? Really. Seriously. WHAT have they freaking done for the people of Texas???? I'll tell you: NOTHING. Not a DAMN thing. Nada. Zip. Zilch. Zero. Look at their voting record. It's SHITE.

They don't give a shit, that's clear. They are ALL ABOUT being in power and staying there, period. The people of Texas can go to hell for all they care. They aren't the LEAST bit interested in representing the interests of the people. WORST. SENATORS. EVER.

Just thought I'd take that opportunity to get that off my chest. Thanks!

(I hope a box turtle gets into Cornyn's house someday and climbs up on his bed while he is asleep and BITES OFF his dick.)

8. excellent rant
well done!

glad to see and know that not everyone in texas has their head up there arse. living over here in "liberal new york" we sometimes get to thinking that those assholes you send to washington are actually liked by most people in the lone star state....nice to know reason and intelligence is well represented.

9. Well you have my permission
and the permission, I am sure, of all good-hearted liberals down here in Texas, to spread the word to all those liberal New Yorkers that there ARE people like me down here and we're sick of being labeled "RED" by the media and we are working our asses off to register voters who are likely to vote Dem. I swear, if the African-Americans and Hispanics in this state rose up and started voting in huge numbers, this state would go blue so fast it'd make Cornyn and Hutchinson and every other repukes' head SWIM. Freaking SWIM.

13. encourage viewings of F9/11 and Outfoxed
that should start getting people shocked out of their numbness and into the voting booths....

.....kick ass on the voter drive, i'm trying to do the same up here to make sure that the conservative-leaning upstate voters don't hijack my state....

15. Showings of F9/11
were in 68 different theaters in TX last time I knew, more now. And the showings were consistently sold out, even in the middle of the day, middle of the week. Still are.

That should tell people something.

4. Yeah, pretty amazing.
The first couple of times I watched the show I thought the interviews were totally farce. I guess I didn't think it was possible for people to be THAT stupid. Hah! Fool me once...

7. This wasn't one of the Daily Show interviews, it was a clip,

supposedly a real clip from the Senate floor. But it did have the weirdness of a Daily Show interview.

6. Well, he didn't mention sex, just a neighbor marrying a box turtle.

Knowing how kids like box turtles, I figure they'd think it was pretty neat. Assuming they weren't old enough to know about S-E-X, that is.

22. It's like that letter I posted last week
Where some jagoff compared it to a woman getting married to a duck. Is this the BEST argument they can come up with?

23. Ok let's just clear this up for all
Republican senators and congress critters and all right wing repukes out there lurking, reading and trying to learn.

NO ONE WANTS TO MARRY ANIMALS.

Letting gay and lesbian couples get married is NOT going to cause people to suddenly decide to enter into a romantic relationship with their cat or their stapler, their coffeemaker, or the squirrel that visits their back porch each day.

GOT IT? Could you BE more retarded????

(Fear makes people say and do strange things, don't it?)
