1. Yeah, last week
It says that it's supposed to be a regular citizen activist up against an opponent, who is actually a comedian and the citizen doesn't know. But I think they're all actors. Last week it started out funny, but by the end of the show it went totally nuts and lost whatever political impact it might have had. As far as I was concerned anyway.

2. Yep
It's by one of the members of the Upright Citizen's Brigade. The idea is that they have actors dupe people into coming on the show to talk about real issues.

There's been some speculation on just how clued in the "real" guests are. You'd have to wonder how idiotic people would have to be to go on a show called "Crossballs" without knowing it's a joke...but then again most of the guests have been Right leaning, so who knows.

4. They get their real life guests
from the same pool of people the Daily Show gets many of it's feature pieces.

In answer, yes there are many people out there who could end up on this show without knowing it's a joke.

6. from their "elderly drivers" debate the other night :

"Well, sure, we occasionally kill people, but look at it in context : it's one of the only ways we *can* kill people."

7. It's a cheap ripoff of Phil Hendrie's radio show...
...which jumped the shark in about 2002.
