This is Post 666, so i will use religion.
I have been a Atheist since I was 14. I have always liked and enjoyed the Bible. I just see it as a fiction novel. I must admit their is still a feeling that there may be a god, but that is my own struggle with faith. Anyway, I was thinking about all the times when historical figures were thought to be the Anti-Christ.(Lenin, Hitler, Saddam, Ect.)

Well Todays version of the Anti Christ is our very Own Shrub.(IMO) Here are some Versus to justify this thought. If you read these closely an think about the events of the past 3 1/2 years you may see the connection.

Revelations Chapter 13:

13:2
And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.

13:4
And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

13:7
And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

13:10
He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

I also believe if this all is to come true that the first part of this next versus is "THE PATRIOT ACT"

13:16
And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

13:17
And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Just some thoughts for a late, sleepless evening.

1. That's a KEEPER!
I'm essentially an agnostic, although I work with some SINCERE Christians, Jews, and probably a few Muslims in Jobs with Justice here in Seattle. We work together as though we're reading from the same chapter, if not off the same page.

I too, hit "666" here a short while back, and it reminded me of an incident some years back. I was buying some cheese products at the Pike Market in Seattle, and the bill came to $6.66. I recoiled in pretended horror ("Gawd! ... SIX-SIX-SIX!"), so "hammy" that I didn't DREAM I'd be taken seriously. She took me seriously, and (flusteredly) offered to slice off a tiny bit to change the inauspicious number. I doubt that she took it seriously either, but she had to deal with all sorts of customers. We'd joke about it, every time I'd stop off there.
