Got two liberal books from the library today.
"Take Them At Their Words," and Franken's "Lying Liars" book.

Last Franken book I read was his Rush Limbaugh book, and that was a POS.
Some facts, and lots of cheap shots.
The chapter with Oliver North leading a conservative bunch of chickenhawks into battle, was simply asinine, even though it wa supposed to be fiction.

Have to see if "Lying Liars" is the same way.

2. Enjoyed "Lying Liars"
More factual than the "Rush" book.

Al Franken IMO always sounds a little like he never left high school (sometimes you want to smack him upside the head and tell him to grow up).

If you haven't read Richard Clarke's or Paul O'Neill's books I would recommend both of those highly.

4. Remember, if those books become overdue, the Justice Department
knows where you live as well as your local library . . .

5. Good for you!
Bump up those circulation numbers -- the more a book is checked out, the more likely additional copies will be purchased and the less likely that it will be weeded to make space for other books.

7. There's another "Chickenhawk" comic in Liars, too
...and it's just as weak.

The rest is great, tho.
