some old fashioned means such as a sharp stick poking you in the ribs or perhaps a blunt object applied to sensitive areas - both will do the trick

no bra or confining clothes, comfy bed and pillows, ceiling fan blowing cool air through the room, and me in bed, surrounded by kitties....
Why, or why is it necessary to get up? I mean, is anything better than a comfy bed with loving kitties? Why would anyone want to leave it for the cold hard world of reality?
