2. Teriyaki
1 cup soy sauce, 4 sliced greenonions/chives, tsp ginger (natural is better--sliced, but powdew will do in a pinch), tblsp brown sugar.

The Store bought stuff is not so great--too thick.

3. My current favorite
is a dry rub of McCormick grillmate Montreal Steak seasoning. This works best with a nice juicy rib steak. With a London Broil or something I usually mix some soy sauce and a little red wine vinegar and the above seasoning.

4. Take a flank steak
And marinate it in:

1) 1 cup Soy Sauce
2) 1 cup Honey
3) 1 cup Olive Oil
4) 1 tbsp. Garlic (chopped)
5) 1/2 cup Green Onion (chopped)

(I usually halve the amounts because the steak we usually cook isn't that big)

Method :
1) Combine all ingredients and mix well with a wire
whisk.
2) Store and refrigerate.
3) Marinade the flank steak for two hours and also
brush the marinade on when grilling.

6. Make sure it includes an acid-based liquid...
...such as wine, beer, vinegar or citrus juice. That acts as a natural tenderizer.

I use Lea & Perrins Worchestershire with black pepper and alot of fork holes to tenderize the meat more, so it's nice and tender with a good taste.

you're welcome :hi:

There use to be a place down in Hialeah called Lilas... It would cook a skirt stake and smother it with skinny french fries.... Fantastic.

14. Do this
Juice of a lime, garlic, juice of an orange, your favorite hot sauce (tabasco as default) and a tablespoon of any kind of mustard, some worcstershire..leave it in there as long as possible..preferably over night...then when you cook it, give it about 5 less minutes than you normally would.

Promise you'll love it.

( I melt bleu cheese over it right before I take it off the grill)
