1. *sigh* Bobby Sherman. One of my boyhood crushes.....
along with Tony Dow from "Leave it to Beaver". :-)

He still looks damn good, IMO.

4. Ha! You, Marcia Brady and my sister.
Which teen idol elicited this response from Marcia after kissing her: "I'll never wash this cheek again"? Was it Bobby, or Davey Jones? Not a rhetorical question---I can't remember and it's apparently important that I know this.

Also, was it her face or her ass?

5. Didn't Marcia have the crush on Davy Jones? That's what I remember.
LOL on the "cheek or ass" comment. :-)

7. Best Regards Bobby Sherman
It is nice to see the fellow remaining dignified and doing something useful after styles changed and he got older. He is a classy guy.

9. Loved him in "Get Crazy!"
He only had a bit part, though.

Get Crazy! was great -- if it's still in print, rent it and make a copy. From 1982. The progenitor of Spiñal Tap and A Mighty Wind.

19. Guess what my first name is?
I can't even tell you how many times I have been serenaded by those who think they're funny and I have NEVER heard that song before...

I still love Bobby Sherman, though. I especially loved seeing him on Rosie O'Donnell's show a few years back; the women in the crowd were screaming! He was sweet and unassuming (and at that time, I believe he was a paramedic.) I'll bet he can't believe women still freak out over him 30 years later!

16. Not a bad bloke
I read a few years back that he'd taken EMT (is that right?) training and bought an ambulance. He said after all people had given him, he wanted to give something back.

18. Bobby was okay
But I preferred Robert Brown. I just had a thing for older men.....

Although I was madly in love with Mark Lindsay, too around that time period.

22. Correct on both...EMT since 1988, Sheriff in 1999
A trained EMT since 1988, Bobby now works for the L.A. Police Department as a specialist officer, assigned to the training department, where he is responsible for teaching thousands of cadets first aid and CPR. Bobby has said that medical rescue work and teaching is the best life experience and training that he could ever have.

In 1999, Bobby become a San Bernardino County Sheriff, starting the same service he provided for the LAPD.
