Edwards Chooses Fast-Food Joint as Romantic Date
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - He's worth millions and could afford the fanciest restaurant in town, but Democratic vice presidential nominee Sen. John Edwards (news - web sites) and his wife celebrate each wedding anniversary at a fast-food joint.

2. Someone covered this in LBN today...
Notice they used the words "millionaire trial lawyer" instead of his title, which is "Senator"?
They're really pushing the reich--wing talking points, huh?

3. I Love That Guy
He is the epitome of down-to-earth!

As it so happens, I was sitting in the dentist's office this morning, thumbing through an old People magazine from February. There was this great profile of Edwards in it, and it said that John finally worked up the courage to ask Elizabeth out on their first date, to a dance at the local Holiday Inn, after first explaining that he couldn't afford to take her out to dinner. My heart really went out to him, but look how well everything turned out!
