Weirdest call you've ever gotten

I recieved a call from Howard Stern, complete with "weehhhhhhhhhnbc", a couple of months ago. Even though he was only with WNBC from 82 to 85, then with k-rock, I think.

I don't listen to his show so I don't know anything about him.

3. Obscene phone call.

My mom got one with some guy groaning into the phone. She was shocked at first, hung up, then started laughing uncontrollably.

4. About twenty years ago, a drunk guy called me one evening.

He had the wrong number, and I kept telling him so. He said he understood that.

He told me his troubles anyway. I gave up telling him he had the wrong number. I listened, and gave him advice.

But I live in a small enough town that everyone knows everyone else. Once, I got a collect call from someone trying to reach a person whose number is one off of mine. I accepted the charges, and called the person the message was meant for. (She was supposed to go pick up her son).

We actually still had party lines here when I moved here in 1978. Unbelievable!

Making hotel reservations

There was a regular caller who would always call from his bathtub and describe the process of his bath as he was making his reservation.

There was another regular caller who would only talk to the female sales agents, and he would ask them to describe their feet.

Once I got a call from a woman with a Chinese accent who said she couldn't give me her credit card number because she wasn't wearing any pants.
