Reports: 'CSI' Actors Fox, Eads Fired

LOS ANGELES - Two stars of the CBS hit television series "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" were fired for breach of contract, KCBS-TV and Variety reported Thursday.

Actors Jorja Fox (news) and George Eads, who play investigators Sara Sidle and Nick Stokes, were fired after asking for more money to stay on the show, according to the reports.

Danica Smith, publicist for both Fox and Eads, told The Associated Press that Fox was fired Wednesday but did not have details. Smith could not confirm whether Eads was fired.

A CBS spokesman said the network had no comment.

1. I'm sure George Eads has a bright future in infomercials ahead of him
I LOVE CSI. But a great actor, George Eads is not.

Well, first of all, shame on them for asking for money because I'm sure they already get enough. They almost did this to Ray's brother on "Everybody Loves Ramond" but I think they reached an agreement. The show will not be the same. I mean at least it wasn't William Petersen. I'd die if they fired him. Wonder who their replacements will be? It'll never be the same though.

3. Archie Bunker almost got bumped off too
The episode where Archie doesn't come home after the convention was done during a contract dispute with Carroll O'Connor. If it hadn't worked, Archie was going to end up getting killed on the way back home.

Imagine how that would have changed TV History.
